About Me

I am a London-based artist specialising in oil painting. My work explores the relationship between life and death through the forms of flora and bone, drawing inspiration from the natural world and its intricate structures, textures and patterns. Through my paintings, I seek to reveal the beauty, resilience and mystery within both living and once-living forms.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Illustration and Animation and spent fourteen years working in the film industry as a 3D Artist specialising in CG Creatures and Characters. My background in anatomy, form, composition and lighting continues to influence my painting practice.

After many years creating digital creatures and characters, I felt drawn back to the tactile and meditative process of traditional painting. Nature has always been at the heart of my work, and painting allows me to slow down, observe and explore the forms and stories that inspire me. Through my work, I hope to create pieces that encourage curiosity, reflection and a deeper appreciation of the natural world.
